In June I participated in a Gift Exchange that was hosted by http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/. My exchange partner Kathryn from http://destinationcraft.blogspot.com is a sewer, which I so wish I could do. I only do embroidery and vinyl so we were the perfect pair. I had asked Kathryn for a cover for my Nook Color, she then told me about certain things that she liked. She told me she was a graduate of BYU and after reading her blog I found she had new baby girl named Gracie. So I decided to create a 3 gifts, one for the family, one for Kathryn and one for her new baby girl. This was a great experience and I encourage everyone to try this. I love my Nook Case!

My First Post

Thanks for coming by! Sorry in advance for the shortness of my first post. I have been working on designing the blog for the majority of the day and now I am pooped. I just wanted to let anyone know that decided to stop by, I will be posting more tomorrow. Thanks so much

Welcome and Thanks for stopping by! Let me start off by explaining the name of my blog, Put My Name On It. When I first purchased my embroidery machine everything that I tried to create revolved around my youngest daughter Chloe. So after I put her name on about 10 different items she thought that it was a normal thing to have her name on all of her things. So now when we go to the fabric store or if she finds something laying around in my sewing room she will say "Put My Name on it Mama, Please Put My Name on it!

I am not putting this blog together to attempt to make money or to try to out do anyone. I have put this blog together to show women, moms and daughters that just because you are not taught to craft doesn't mean you can't do it. Everyone has a creative streak in themselves, you just need a little motivation to help wake it up. I have taught my self vinyl design and application as well as embroidery. My sewing machine and I tend to have a complicated relationship, but I will conquer sewing one way or the other.

Please Look around and I hope you can get some sort of motivation from the daily projects I will be accomplishing.
